The Power We Have
Steps to be an INTENTIONAL Reader
Audit what you’re reading RIGHT NOW. It keeps you honest.
Make sure that any round ups not related to what you’re currently reading are as diverse as you want to see in the world.
Search for conferences that have the same values as you an read from those authors
Go look for what you want in Indie (Independently Published Books*)
*Yes, Indie also means independent publishers, but I’m really speaking about books published by the authors.
Here’s everything I mentioned in this conversation:
Look at this magnificent cover!!! Kimberly Lemming finds amazing artists for her books. She’s also the queen of book titles.
These are the cute things I got from Books by Britton
My book decor by Books by Britton
Lore of the Wilds and Lore of the Tides by Analeigh Sbrana
Authors I mentioned: Ali Hazelwood, Julie Soto, Amalie Howard, Julian Winters, Sonora Reyes, Ambar Cordova, Vanessa Riley, Addy DuLac, Lisa Rayne (I accidentally called her Lisa Payne, which might’ve been my brain thinking about Nikki Payne who is also an amazing author.), Shelly Page, A.H. Cunningham
