Romancing the Duke
Spice Level: 2/5
Kinks Explored: None.
Voices Heard: Ransom is basically blind. They talk about that struggle from injury, and his fear with how that would affect him as a lover.
Did I like it? Yea. I wanna get another of her books and see what else she has.

Go Hex Yourself
Spice Level: 2/5
Kinks Explored: Nothing new. Though the ages gap of 500 years might be a specific thing for some.
Voices Heard: Reggie has a GBF. They talk about his relationship with Diego, but it’s most white cis het people.
Did I like it? I enjoyed it a lot. Curious to see what the next book is like.

Love & Other Disasters
Spice Level: 2/5
Kinks Explored: None
Voices Heard: Queer, Trans, Latina

Ten Trends to Seduce Your Bestfriend
Spice Level: 2/5
Kinks Explored: None

Did I like it? The awkward is adorable. I appreciated the intimate journey they went on together. This felt like something that happens often in today’s world, but people might feel ashamed about. I’m glad that people who haven’t found the person they’re ready to be intimate with, can look to this story and (hopefully) see themselves as accepted.

A Princess in Theory
Spice Level: 2/5
Kinks Explored: Not a one
Voices Heard: This is almost an exclusively black cast of characters. Thabiso’s assistant and best friend is also a gay woman.
Did I like it? It was great!!!

Love on the Brain
Spice Level: 2/5
Kinks Explored: Are pierced nipples now a kink? Nah. So, really… none.
Voices Heard: A lot of these characters are white. I liked the diversity of her first book more.
Did I like it? Yeah. She’s got a formula that I enjoy.

Ramón and Julieta
Spice Level: 2/5
Kinks Explored: None
Voices Heard: A completely Hispanic cast of main characters!
Did I like it? I will almost always love a Shakespeare spinoff.

Always Be My Duchess
Spice Level: 2/5
Kinks Explored: None
Voices Heard: One of the best friend’s parents are from India, but that’s it.
Did I like it? Yeah. I found the characters fun. Putting the rest of the series on my TBR.

Verity
Spice Level: 2/5
Kinks Explored: None.
Voices Heard: No one new.
Did I like it? HARD PASS! No suspense for me!!!!! Please!!!!

The Holiday Trap
Spice Level: 2
Kinks Explored: No kinks.
Voices Heard: Love the gay and lesbian stories being told in tandem! What a diverse group of supporting characters. There’s a racial, gender, religious, and orientation smorgasbord. Only a shame that the main couples are all white.
Did I like it? Adored it!!!!
Well, hello there. My name is Jayce.
