Did I like it? So much. This was my first Katee Robert book. I’ve devoured every one of her books (and novellas) that I’ve gotten my hands on.
Polaris Rising

Kinks Explored: Nothing. The sex was boring to read.
Voices Heard: White and Asian seem to be the norm for this universe.
Did I like it? For the story. There are two more books in this series. I want to know what these crazy kids will get up to next. But I’m not expecting the enjoy the sex.

Did I like it? If you like “fantasy” that takes place on earth, this is a great book. It’s also not Eurocentric, and is written with the multilingual nature that occurs when people actually speak multiple languages.

Voices Heard: Love the gay and lesbian stories being told in tandem! What a diverse group of supporting characters. There’s a racial, gender, religious, and orientation smorgasbord. Only a shame that the main couples are all white.
